Welcome to the NEW Missouri Delta Foundation Web site!
If you've stopped by this site in the past and found the content...lacking, we hope you'll find our ongoing efforts to be a pleasant change!
In the coming months The Foundation and the active Chapter are planning to focus on the flow of information and service to our Alumni. The old days where Alumni interaction solely consisted of one weekend with a "lampshade on the head" party at the house and a round of golf at a local goat ranch are history.
We have set many goals for the next school year, not the least of which is reconnecting with all of you, either in person or through regular dissemination of information.
What are we planning?
Among other things, the Foundation has a new focus...and that focus is you. Previously, the Foundation's main goal has centered around getting the chapter back up and running. We've added a component to our efforts based on the belief that our greatest asset - our Alumni - should get together more often. Regular happy hours/casual dinners, golf outings (to places where the greens are...green), philanthropy, and I-70 road trips that bring St. Louis and Kansas City alums together. All of these things are possible but have historically been difficult to organize - - we hope this site will be the answer to that problem.
With our newly acquired ability to update the site at will and a resident "web guy" on the board, the web sites for the Chapter and the Foundation should become functional tools for 'getting the word out'. Our "e-goal" - - to banish forever the phrase "I didn't hear about it."
What can we do for you?
If this site is going to work, we need to hear from you! Think of us as a way to get the word out about your next event! Forming a softball team? Sponsoring a charity event? Just getting together for a beer? We're a great way to get your information to the masses. Send us an e-mail...
We invite you to look around to see some of the things we're up to - - Please bear with us as we build you a better site!
