From the Alumni Chairman:

In any fraternity the alumni are a direct reflection of the strength of the Chapter. A strong alumni group serves as the fraternity’s guiding light -- a light that enables the chapter to learn, grow, and be successful in its overall mission. Through the regular involvement of alumni, our fraternity is better able to act with clarity of purpose, develop valued relationships with other generations, and establish an outside network of opportunities for future “real world” success.

The Alumni of Missouri Delta (MODE) continue to provide a great deal of guidance, and do a great deal to keep our chapter history of excellence alive and well. Their dedication and contributions have enabled us to make enormous strides during our first year back on campus. While the word “contribution” is most often associated with cash donations, our Alumni brethren donate in a truly amazing number of ways. They show support by attending and planning alumni events like our Purple and Gold Alumni Game and BBQ, our formal Founder’s Day banquet, and quarterly alumni/active retreats.

In addition to their participation in these events, the most treasured gifts we receive from our alumni is the active mentorship and chapter advisor programs. These programs provide us with frequent interaction with gentlemen (of all ages and disciplines) who have walked in our shoes as Rockhurst men and active members of SAE. In short, our alumni are every bit as important to the success of our Chapter as the active members. They serve as living proof that SAE is a lifelong commitment, with lifelong rewards.

I would like to personally thank each of our alums for the example they have set, and for the support that they have given. Because of this, and the continuing events that bring the active Chapter closer together with its alumni, our fraternity is able to grow stronger and closer than any other organization. The positive impact of our chapters relationship with its alumni is immeasurable, and is certainly one of the greatest assets of Missouri Delta Chapter of SAE.
